Allan Stone of Stoney's Barber Shop

My name is Allan Stone, I am 45 years old, I’m married to my wife Rachel and I have 2 children Sebastian 7 and Lily 2. I began my career as a Hairdresser at 15 years of age at Saks Hairdressing under the tutorage of Gary Hooker , Paul Jerrard and Nick Irwin. I transitioned into Barbering when I was 20 and found my passion. I took over my first business when I was 24 years old. Barbering is my life and has seen me take many different avenues down the years in this wonderful craft. I have been lecturing at my local for 5 years (South Tyneside College) and I am a regional educator (north east) for the GBBA. I have done photographic work for many of the leading industry magazines including modern barber, Barber NV and barber evo. Education is key for me these days and I have done stage work at many of the leading trade shows, barber connect, barber UK, Salon international and last but not least, the amazing British Master Barbers.
